How did the painting go the other day Buddy? Did you get the school color paints that I think Lowe's sells? I can see you painting the Gator colors in your townhouse! That scheme of Orange, Blue and Green would look nice!

This is my Friday as well. Have a good weekend lined up. We have a cookout with fireworks at a friends house tomorrow, on Saturday we have a friends 40th Bday party.
I had the bracket selection meeting last night for my 13 Yr Old All-Star team. We have 7 teams in our district enter a team for this age level. So one team gets a 1st round bye. I was sure happy that my name was drawn last for a change! We got the bye. This means we only have to win four games to win our district where everyone else will need to win five. It is a double elimination tournamant. We scrimmaged a 14 year old team last night and played them evenly. We play a 15 year old team tonight. If we hang with these teams, it is a good indication we will be more than ready to play other 13 year olds.
I made a package for Nimster and Tony R yesterday, but forgot to put them in my car. I will try and mail them over the weekend. I am waiting on one more card for my Xmas in July partner. I think they will enjoy the selection I got for them!
Short day today. Won some tickets to a Rockhounds game on Saturday vs. the Arkansas Travellers.

While JD Drew has been having a great year, he is really not one of my favorites and I actually prefer the uniform picture to match versus the logo. Since Dodger Dave is both a Red Sox and Dodger fan, I think he would appreciate it more than me. Please send it on to Dave.

PS My wife sent me for Birthday cards at lunch today. Hit up Target. I can't walk into that store and not buy something. I only grabbed one pack of Topps Chrome. Got a nice Blue Refractor #'d 200 of Joe Mauer. It is one of those Trading Card History cards. Very cool looking card. I need to get that out to Tony G to increase my point total and ensure a top 3 finish!!!

Question of the day: I've been thinking about this for a week or so...Aaron Cook should make the All Star team for the Rockies...since Clint Hurdle is managing the NL All Star team....do you think Cook will get the start over Brandon Webb or anyone else???
I think Hurdle will let him pitch in the game for sure but I dont know that he would give him the start.

I don't know if I told you but they finally started construction on our minor league park. Columbus Catfish will move to Bowling Green and start play next April. I don't see how they will get it done by then, but who knows.
