Another good day for the Rangers...9-4 winners vs Oakland.

Josh hit #24 and 3 more RBI for 103 for the year.

Chris Davis and Marlon Byrd also went yard.

Pitching was better than normal today.

Going for the SWEEP tomorrow

Page 5 bump. Where is everyone this fine Sunday afternoon. It is raining so hard right now that my Satellite is not working. Hope this ends soon so I can get back to watching the Brickyard 400. Yankees have been kicking the Sox around this weekend. We need this one tonight.

I've been off the boards for a couple of days spending time with Darling Daughters. Man, am I have a great time. I have seen my oldest daughter in 18 months. She's the one who just her Ph.D. She's been telling me a lot.

Jaycob: I think you did very well with Anthony Reyes. He is a high ball pitcher and could never cope with LaRussa and Duncan wanting him to throw low. He just throws like a hurricane. He needs his confidence built up again, and when he's right, he lights out. He was never suited to the Cardinals system, but I think in the American League you'll have another Haren. I didn't like the trade that much because Reyes should be a major league pitcher and worth more than a Class AA minor league reliever, but I like the young man we got. I think the Indians did very well. Only time will tell.

Dave Philly is one wonderful person. I got a nice little happy (what my first wife use to call a gift) from Dave yesterday. A great 1971 Cardinals stamp book with all the Cardinals in it and a really beautify '55 Topps Johnny Riddle card. What an amazing gift in the mail. Thanks so much. I even loved the Little League cover. Wonderful!!!! Thanks again Dave. You guys are so good to me.

Okay, Cardinals lose 2 out of 3 to the Mets and move on to Atlanta. Big trades coming up for a lot of teams. Prices going down and folks moving around. Should be an interesting week in baseball.

Oh, I also have a whole bunch of packages going out this week. Darling Daughter (the younger) will take care of getting them to the P.O. and you should all have them before the weekend.
