Man another HOT one today. Need some of the Rain and wind S. Padre is getting.
My Rangers got shelled again and Buerhle was almost unhittable ..A 10-2 loss.

I did some sorting last night. You are going to be one happy Rangers collector. I think I have close to an 800 ct of Rangers. No one ever signed on since you had left over a year ago. They have been piling up! Lots of goodies too. I will get something heading your way soon. Glad to have you back!

I'm pretty irked but that's the way things go. I still won't root for the Yankees but I'll root for Richie to get his hits in. I guess you'll be my new best friend for getting his current Yankees cards
The thing that really bother me the most, is that I will not be able to justify paying Steiner prices for his new GU stuff :doubt: Not that I really want Yankees stuff but man, I guess with the big fan base they think all fans are very rich or they're just taking advantage of the supply/demand model. I actually still have 1 yankees piece but I got it because it was a very good deal.
Got some packages sitting in my g/f's car to be mailed after work, not sure who but I think theres 6-7 in there.
I did get mail yesterday from PhillyDave.. haven't had a chance to open it yet but I'll post the thanks tonight.
Finally got the last piece to my SS, so I'm going to finish packaging that up tonight and drop it off at the PO tonight/tomorrow.

The new shop is getting very close to being ready.Our re-grand opening will be on Aug. 8. which is the one year anniversary of our grand opening at our old location.
I am still recovering from the recent 19-4 loss.That was painful to watch but I am glad I did just to get to see Pena Jr. pitch.He was the best all night.Retired them in order and even struck out I. Rodriguez looking.Hopefully Greinke pitches well and they can get the W today.Thier pitching has been pretty awful lately.

Wayne....Super I can never get enough Rangers cards now if I can get them organized!!! Any inventory tips as I see you know exactly what RedSox cards you have.
I have a "few" Red Sox cards and some Pats that I will send NE soon.

I picked up a box of Allen Ginter today during lunch from my 43rd Street vendor - I will try and post the break on the other place some time soon(ish). My ever-friendly salesman also threw in two boxes worth of loose cards for the TC board. Does anyone need, in particular, 2006 Bowman Draft Picks or 2007 Topps (1st series)?
I will pull out the gold inserts and #'d cards for mailers, but does anyone need commons here?
Also - I know some of you collect football - and Nim has those preferences listed on the master chart - but if you want to remind who you like - my salesman threw in a box of loose 2008 Topps Football - looks like an entire box (without the big pulls).

Howdy folks!
I had a fun day yesterday. The fun started (or didn't) when my truck would not even turn over. I figure one of the relays blew in the fuse box located in the engine. I'll have to track down what the problem is. After an extended work day at the office I got home pretty late, just in time for bed. After my chores I usually take out the dogs for their nightly duties. I head out the back onto our patio, before I even hit the peagravel we all got skunked! :oops: Our midget dog/monster chihuahua Pepe (aka Sir Plops-a-lot, Plopasaurus Rex) got hit head on and our other dog got the residual. Our third dog was much luckier since she was lazy and didn't want to go out. Neither I or the dogs saw the skunk. It was the most horrible smell and unfortunately it was by our back patio door. I had to go around the front and bang on the window and get my wife to toss out some dog shampoo. We spent a good hour late last night washing the dogs on our driveway. Dog #2 cleaned up well, but poor Pepe was much harder to clean. We washed his coat pretty well but unfortunately some of the skunk oil got into his nose and mouth. That might take some time to wear off. sigh. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket.
All I can say is that today is going much better.

Mail day. I got some great cards today from Matt. All new stuff. Tons of Topps Chrome (all of which is new to me), some Tri-Star (of which I only had a few), and tons of Moments and Milestones. While I will add a ton of new cards from M&M, I have to admit I am not a big fan. What a pain in the butt to add those cards through my collections! Why Pedro did you have to Strike out 313 batters?!?!?! :badgrin: 313 different versions times 150 per version, means a lot of them available! They will help with my ever growing total. Thank you so much Matt. I always look forward to your packages. I am going to be adding over 50 new cards. Sweet!
Sox sweep the M's. Sorry Jeremy. Brandon Morrow looks really good. I am sure some teams would give up a lot to get him for a stretch run. If the M's want to keep him, I am sure JJ Putz would make nice trade bait.
