Hey Everyone.
Hope you had great weekends!!
No big Lunkers this weekend. Fun fishing with the kids though. Great weather in the midwest this weekend.
Watching the Red Sox and Twins. Hope the Red Sox take three this week!!
Received two packages over the weekend but I did not open them yet. WIll update another time.
Spent today travelling to Illinois State University to visit with my daughter. Am I really old enough to have my baby choosing a college?
Have a great night everyone.
Tony
Wow.
No one posted since I did a few hours ago.
I wanted to jump in and thank my North Side Buddy
Monty and Ironman
Thom for some great packages that arrived this past weekend.
Monty sent some 2008 cards including Bowman, M&M, and Topps. Highlights include a Matt Long Bowman Auto and a Lance Broadway M&M Auto. Also a Frank Thomas /25 from M&M.
Thom sent a big variety of cards from the years. A Score 1990 Hot Rookie Frank THomas and a 1989 Bowman Fisk are a few highlights. Also a 2004 Leather and Lumber Ryan Meaux Auto.
Thanks fellas!!
I hope CC does big things for the Brewers, esp against the North Siders
Very glad he is out of the AL Central.
Any chance the Twins will trade Mauer and Morneau? I know, just wishful thinking!!
G'Night.
Tony
I received a great mailer today from
trcardcollector. Inside was a Tristar Jonathan Bachanov, a Douglas Reinhardt 2004 SP Prospects, a Topps 52 Nathan Haynes, several 2007 Bowman Chrome Prospects, a bunch of A&G Angels, a whole slew of 2007 Topps Update, a 2008 Topps Aubrey Huff and a 2005 Showcase Aubrey Huff... but the icing on this cake was a beautiful 2004 Bowman Gold Refractor Tim Bittner #'d to 50 !!!
THANKS TONY R.
I picked up the last item for my July gift giving recipient... I hope he likes everything. Currently, all the items for this particular team seem to be hot commodities  Guess we know I don't have the Mariners, ey Jeremy ?

Touche fellow washingtonian.. too bad I didn't get you huh, cause I won a pretty neat Angels related piece on Sunday from a Pack Wars event. Also, for what was spent my g/f and I made out like bandits. I'll try to get some pictures up tomorrow night.
It looks like I finally got my last piece in for the x-mas in July.. I think maybe a little overkill here but eh, it's for a good cause right?
Not sure if I'll make it to the post office tomorrow, but at least at some point this week it'll be en route to it's victim:badgrin:
Good MAENing. I am waiting on my last item for my Xmas in July victim. The auction ended June 24th. He left me feedback within 24 hours, so you assume it would have been mailed. Still nothing.... I dislike slow shippers! The seller has over 10,000 positive feedbacks, so I am sure it will arrive some day!
I have not had time to put together packages. I have two from last week in my car. Hopefully I can make it to the PO today. Angels and Mets.
Wayne
I'd had those autos in my bucket for a short time, and realized they really weren't doing me any good :o
I knew you'd like them. I can't get over gorezlanny and how he's lost his mojo...
have a good day...

hey guys, hope everyone is doing well
I got my first game used ITEM in the mail yesterday. Kellen Kulbacki signed bat with some serious game use. Got it for under the price of a blue refractor RC of him. Geez, I'll buy these things all the time over cardboard. I'll try to post some pics tonight
Greeting all my TCs:
I've been cooling it for a while. My belly has got me down today, so I took a sick day. Still kinda puny, but I'll be back.
Phil: Take 'er easy, buddy. Docs outside of VA do cost a lot, but many times they are forgiving on some of the bills. I go outside of VA a lot because I have both my and my wife's insurance. It still costs me the way insurance companies compute things, but I like the service a little better. But the VA does somethings really well. I hope all goes very well for you. You might want to check with our office in New York. Sometimes the VA pays for outside services.
Buddy: Welcome to the group. I am so pleased that Aarne is sticking around as a Tier II. Don't forget the convention in September in Baltimore. I'd love to see a gang of us there.
Tony G.: I am so sorry for sending you those Royals cards. I guess the got mixed up because I try to keep cards in alphabetical order when I stack them, and many times slip up. I'm pleased you like the Twins cards. I have more for you buddy.
I will be putting out some stuff on Saturday. I hope everybody got the stuff I sent out last week. Randy, did you get that GABB I sent. Dan P., I think I sent you a nice package too.
I got my UD Piece of History cards yesterday. That's a nice, moderately priced set. Randy, I also got the Just Autographs Cardinals card -- Kozma. Looks like it is really a small set with only one Redbird. I also completed my base set of Premier by getting a Wainwright card. I have shortprinted Edmonds and Rolen cards, but if I see the base cards I am going to get them. Hard to find though. Everyone wants to sell those special cards.
Cubs treated the Cardinals harshly this past weekend. But it shows that the Cubs pitching is better than the St. Louis pitching. We're hoping that Mulder and Carpenter can correct that, but I'm betting that we pull in a starter before August.
Have a great and wonderful day everyone,
Thom
I'm checking in to see how things are going with eveyone.
I finally got a store, and a 5% hourly pay increase, in 60 days I will be getting another 5%
It's still 2 weeks before the new place is ready, We've got a lot of stuff in boxes and are ready to go.
Have a good day eveyone.
Check back later.
James
