2007-08 UD Sweet Shot Sweet Spot kudos to UD for trying something new.  i love the look of the autos on the baseball

2007-08 UD All World Auto /5 most fun search i've had in a while.  try hunting for these bad boys when there's only 5 of them and only inserted into retail Target Walmart blaster boxes

Kevin beautiful cards and I concur on all your thoughts. The Ice Frozen Foursomes are a great idea and the All World Autos are INSANELY tough to find.

But the baseball skins from Sweet Shot were the best and for the reason you made so clear. It was NEW and DIFFERENT. That is why I take UD to task, they are lazy and complacent with their products now.

I do not need Ice Scripts 5 years in a row with a strikingly similar design. Change the design or try a new concept that's all I ask.

Best UD product so far this year? far and away, it's Champs and it may be their best product of the year period IMO.

One  of  the  corners  of my parkhurst rookie  has  a  slight  dink in it  and so it  goes.   The  job  that was  done  with the  05 06  CUP  should  be  hailed  as the  finest  hockey card  product  ever  produced. The  designs  were  great  the  patches  were  stunning  the  rookies  were  superb  what  more  could anyone  ask  for  in  a hockey product.
It was  so good  then when I was  cracking  cases  I didnt  care  if  I got  a  good  rookie  or  not. The  memorabilia  was  so good.  In  short hockey card  collecting  is  a rush.... almost  a  habit  And  I am glad  that  Upper Deck 05/06 CUP got me  back into  that habit I  didnt  realize  how  much I missed  collecting  when I gave  it up for  a while.

I echo that one. 05/06 Cup is hands down the best overall hockey product ever made. I LOVE some of ITG's work still and am sad they don't have a license to really show their stuff.

That said, of the NHL/NHLPA approved cards, the 2005/06 version of The Cup was the best. I think every year The Cup is one fo the top brands along with ITG Ultimate and one of the best overall products. It needs to be tweaked a little here and there but it still dominates, mainly because of the rookies and all their big cards being in there. I guess Ultimate has those single shields that are always hot as heck for people, especially the rookie collectors. I think this year Champs is the best overall thing I've seen but I'll wait and see until products like Superlative and the Cup hit being making a final call on my favorite for the year.

Yes I hope  this  years  CUP  does  live  up to the  brand name. There are some great young  kids  as  rookies  this  year  which  should  mean  it  will sell well.
DOH!  Realized that UD didn't make Parkie cards when I pulled that Lemieux, so I will make my #1 my #2 and make a new #1.

My new #1
