Beckett Message Boards

They cost me $7000 delivered from blowout, and I'll be busting it all over the next week or so. 

1) I am a slow breaker, as I sleeve cards immediately, and sort & box periodically to clear my work space. 

2) I won't be ready to trade anything until the whole thing is done, so please understand if I do not respond to requests for cards. 

3) I will list out all numbered cards and autos, and the whole break will be in a single thread.

4) I will be "grading" my break by the box, by the case, and by the full break.  I use A-F letter grades, with C being average value relative to what I paid.  Grading breaks is my thing, so humor me.  Please feel free to dispute, correct, or otherwise provide feedback on my grading.  That always helps me get a handle on the set.  These 10 cases are the first 08 Draft I've busted.

I'm pretty excited.  I think I can get a half a case in tonight.  Wish me luck!

Draft Blue: Jay Bruce
Golf Refractor: Matt Cerda
Auto: Gordon Beckham

Grade: B.  I successfully avoided Hand in the very first box, which bodes well.  A quality auto and a decent gold refractor makes for a solid box.

my only 2 auto box had 2  schlereths 1 base 1 refractor
my only 2 printing plates are fr tyler sample

Thanks, hope so.  Taking a bit of an American Idol break and will probably resume busting around 11PM Eastern. 

BTW, I saw you got a $695 price on a case from a local shop, including sleeves.  That's awesome.  I wish I had a shop like that near me.

sad thing is they are losing money hand over fist i hope they can weather this economic storm or my buying habits are sure to change to more like yours
