Am I the only one who keeps on getting graded cards back with dirt inside the slabs? It annoys the crap out of me to see a piece of dirt
in certain areas that makes the card visually unappealing (right on the player's face, on white borders, etc). Also sometimes the slab has stains on the inside,so it looks like fogged up.

Most recently I got some cards back with some minor defect to the sleeve and looks unappealing. I don't want to pay for reslab fees when the slabs are perfectly fine but has dirt inside or some minor thing that makes the card look bad.

I just wish beckett would be more observant when they slab the cards, like make sure no dirt on the card or make sure the slabs they are using are not dirty.

Contact BGS about it, I'm sure they would reslab them for free as long as you contact them right away once recieving your cards back...
Thanks for the advice. However even if they reslab it for free, I'm pretty sure they don't cover the shipping fees. I also don't send in cards to be graded often, so I wouldn't be able to combine it with an order right away (I could send in 1 random card and include the 5 graded cards to be reslabbed, but that just means more wasted money on the grading fee for a random card).

Also shipping 5 graded cards would cost me $5+ on shipping on my end plus the standard $13 return ground shipping fee from beckett. I mean $18 for something that shouldn't have happened is a waste in my mind.

I think you bring up valid points. I know I have slabs w/ dirt or hair/fibers in them, slabs that have that foggy effect, and slabs where the inner sleeve has a very jagged seal. All of which can take away from the eye appeal of a card or lead to possible damage (jagged seal or the debris sealed on top of a card. The free reslabbing is fine but the shipping is pretty costly especially when you are not at fault for the error. To be honest all of the grading companies have the same policy where they might reslab for free but the sender/customer must pay for the shipping. IMO this stinks and I wish the companies would cover some of the shipping as well as the reholdering.
I would even take vouchers for free grading in place of the shipping cost.

You bring up a good point....so if they dont cover shipping for reslabbing, then give you like 4-5 free card gradings. This to me would make up the shipping cost plus you could send in the cards to be reslabbed. I hope you all havent jinxed me, I have never had this problem.
this problem is ridiculous. i cant get single monthly order back without some crap happening to my cards which is bgs' fault. whether it be a hair, dirt, cracked case, etc. i have had an issue with every order with them for the past 8 months. the quality control is pathetic.
I've been subbing to BGS for 4 years and out of hundreds of cards I've had 2 chipped cases which they fixed for free so it wasn't a big deal But as far as any kind of debree in the slab Its never happened to me or been a problem with any of the cards I've purchased online or other venues, I guess I've been very Lucky and never realized people were having this problem as frequently and a few have mentioned..

I've seen those things in my cases as well. My concern is if the debris could possibly harm the card in some way. For the record I've had slabs from the other companies with the same issues. I know it happens infrequently but having something sealed within the case with card can ruin the eye appeal as well.
