Rays Down to Two Candidates for # 1 - From MLB.com.
Looks as though Skipworth, Matusz and Alvarez are officially out of contention now.
I hope they go with T-Beck.

The Rangers have contacted my friend (and fellow BMB member) Cliff Panezich about possibly taking him in the later rounds!! He's going to email/text me when he hears anything else.

I think Hicks will be better as an OF than P. It would be a shame to let that bat go to waste.

Agreed. As for Ethan Martin though, put him on the mound.
I think Posey goes first, I hope the Yankees can have Shooter Hunt fall to them, he is from Wycoff NJ, and my Falmouth Commodores, and I really hope the yankees dont sign Gerrit Cole, no more injured pitchers.

On ESPN, KLAW is predicting the Rays to take T-Beck. He also has my favorite player Shooter Hunt now falling to 23rd, a few more spots down and my Yankees can get him. It still has the yankees taking Gerrit cole, he is the one guy that I DONT want, I dont like drafting a player who is already injured like Brackman. Another guy I hope the yankees get is Tanner Scheppers in like the 3rd or 4th round

I'm very excited about the Draft today. I've got it set on my DVR since I'll be at work. I almost don't want to see what happens online and just watch it "live" on the digital replay. I hope Gillaspie falls to the BoSox at #30 (but I doubt he'll last that long).

For what it's worth, it's a near certainty they won't get it next year. Heck, if this keeps up, they may actually pick outside the Top 10 for the first time!
