I saw this Modano on ebay and if you look at the description it says that the card is numbered 9/10. I thought that ITG doesn't do indivdual numbering they just stamp every card with 1 of 10. Did ITG indivdually number these cards or is this seller lying?

all of the cards in this set that is limited to 9 or less is hand numbered

Strike

The cards /9 and I believe /1 are individually numbered.

All cards numbered to 10 or less are individually numbered.
That includes all Gold Versions which are numbered to /10.

This seller is honest

Yep, this time he/she is. But check out that feedback rating...ouch. I wouldn't bother with him or her.

I don't think so.

First off, per the ITG Superlative website, only cards numbered to 9 or less are hand numbered.

Second, the seller doesn't show the hand numbering on back of the card. Suspicious at best...

Finally, I pulled a couple of gold Superlative cards (no game jerseys, but an autograph and a game patch) and neither of them were hand-numbered, only stamped "1 of 10."

All of which leads me to believe that he put the 9/10 in his auction to try and boost his sale. Unless someone was able to provide a scan that shows otherwise, I'd say this guy was exaggerating at best and a boldfaced liar at worst...

I pulled one gold game jersey and it was hand numbered. Here's one that's on eBay right now, and it's hand numbered. Unless he wrecked the label to get at it, there's nothing wrong with the Modano he's selling.

Good to know, but strange that ITG didn't make mention of the numbered gold jerseys on their website. Also strange that they didn't number any of the other gold versions #/10.

Maybe their hands got tired after the Gold jerseys, and decided to go with 1 of 10 after that!!
