People that more than likley wont have a chance to become a star in the nfl and if so why? i was thinking of picking up a few chris leaks becuase i rember him coming out of high school and how he was crowned the next great thing.

Thats why a lot of people collect players that maybe never made it, because they enjoyed watching them play in college, or went to school with them etc.
Uh, i collect Falcons...so that includes many people that most likely wont be stars...but we can all dream
i could care less if they become a star, its a hobby and supposed to be fun. I have fun collecting falcons, therefore i could careless. If they become a star, great...if i have doubles, than i may move one...ya know?

I just collect guys I like. To me this is a hobby and I'm not doing this to make an investment. I try and get the guys I like that are in my price range as most kids could probably relate to, I'm on a limited budget.
Yep im a kid also so i try to get what i can of the higher end players like like AKA B-Easy And B-marsh!

My two big player collections are both HOFers, Hirsch and Largent. My smaller one is Trent edwards, and i don't collect him because I'm worried how good he will do, (though I certainly hope he does well.) I collect him because he QB'd at one of my favorite colleges and he seems like a pretty good guy. I wouldn't sell even if he went up to Manning or LT prices.
I like Syvelle Newton and he never played a down in training camp but he was a great USC Gamecok player.

That's my story.....I collect mainly the guys in my sig. Ko Simpson overcame alot to get to college and then left it all out on the field and Cory Boyd did the same and gives 110% everytime he's out there.
I collect any and all former OU players, if they are going to be a star makes no difference to me. This is a Hobby for me not a profession.
