I just picked up a Kobe Topps Chrome RC. I'm considering getting it graded what do you all think? Its a little off center but I figure that it's still worth it.

Nice Pickup, Congrats. Definately worth sending in for Grading. Looks just like mine and it came back a 9 with 2 9.5 subs. Any scratches on the surface? Hard to tell inside the case.

It's still worth it, but the centering killed it. Maybe it could scrape by and get a 9 if your lucky, but its more likely an 8.5

The surface is actually real clean. I figure the best I could hope for would be a 9, but would be happy with 8.5. It really isn't to much of a concern for me because it's PC (unless it comes back below 8, lol).

I can't wait to get them back in my possesion. I'm kinda bumbed about the LeBron 8.5 but I am happy that I got a 9 for my Kobe Chrome RC. I was also hoping for at least one 10 to come back. I also thought that my Holo F/X was at least a 9.5 (oh well it's the luck of the grade). I got a few more that I plan on getting graded before the year is out.

What are the sub grades on the Kobe?

Centering Grade 8.5

Corner Grade 9.0

Edges Grade 9.5

Surfaces Grade 9.0
