...I can't get it to work. Is the ignore function in user profile just a link that doesn't work? It still says I have 0 people in my ignore function when I tried to add one this morning.

works for me...let me try to replicate:

you are going to their user profile, and pressing that button, correct?

so, using a random user (sorry, akbobcat, nothing personal)

bottom left, below the add to buddy list

i click, it then gives me this page

and akbobcat shows up

also, from that second link, you can just enter folks names directly

try that, and see what happens

Yep, 1st way worked, 2nd way does not...
