Anyone else tired of this little punk@$$ and the BS he does? Blows kisses at a pitcher he hits a HR off, flips off his own helmet on his first mlb hit as he runs to 2nd base for a double and now he hits a wall with his bat which then ends up bouncing back and hitting him in the eye. I hope he gets sent back down to the minors whenever whoever went on the DL comes back. Im done with this little punk. That's all, thank you Have a great weekend
Come on....he's 19!!!! I think we need guys like him in the MLB right now. It looks like he's genuinely enjoying playing the game of baseball. While I'm NOT annointing him the next Pete Rose, doesn't his enthusiasm remind anyone of Rose? As long as he's not showing anyone up at the major league level (it seems he knows better at this point), I say we just enjoy the ride.
I like him and I like his passion for the game. It's easy to do those things as a teenager, if you say you never did anything dumb like that when you were young I'll call you a liar to your face. I hope he keeps it up and as he matures he will be one of the greats. And like said above, he does remind me of Rose a little bit.

Dude get off of it!! Bryce is a great player, and has the best passion for his game. So what about the bat breaking thing, he wants to be great. How can you hate on that, so what if everyone blows his stories up and are all over every move he makes. You sound like a hater, and bye you pic of ur team i can see why. No one is blasting albert P for bombing a big year after signing a monster contract. Let Harper bee, he means no harm to anyone. The game needs some sparks, its a long season and it gets pretty boring hearing about hitlesss sprees and losing streaks. But no harm no foul, leave Brycey B alone.

Men of all ages do stupid things, we are the epitomy of stupidity
Amare? Yep, pretty stupid to punch anything metal or glass, especially during the playoffs. I mean didn't he watch The Karate Kid growing up? From that moment when the sensei punches the car windows and cuts his hands all up I knew not to punch glass.
Bryce? Yep, pretty stupid to hit a concrete wall with anything and not anticipate the recoil. Not too many people are of the "Hulk Smash" ilk that that's not gonna happen.
Me? Yeah, I've done stupid stuff but I'll keep those stories for another day.
As The Once-ler once said, "If a guy does something stupid once, it's because he's a guy. Twice, it's because of a girl."
These things have happened in pro sports forever, it's just with all the 24x7 internet media coverage things tend to get spun a certain way to spark controversy which is seen as good journalism these days, instead of you know, doing your job and finding a real story and maybe writing more than 3 incoherent sentences with no or misconstrued facts. I blame reality TV but I blame it for lots of things.
