Beckett Message Boards

I know alot of people only mention the good breaks. But I think its good for people to know about the bad ones too. I opened a box of '97 Bowman Chrome. It was missing 3 cards and there were no rookies worth mentioning. There are several rookies in the set that are priced above $3. I think the best cards were a Ron Wright refractor and a Derek Jeter base. I give the box 1/2 a star, because the base cards are going towards my set. It almost seems like the box could've been mixed from other boxes. I do believe it came from a good seller. But when I buy another box, I will make sure it is sealed.

I bought a box of 2009 box of topps chrome baseball blaster at my local K-mart and it was full of 2008 topps chrome commons, I never bought another box from them.

Yeah, SEALED boxes for me as well. Just bought a 2006 Flair Showcase hobby box from my local ShopKo and the box didn't have either of the 2 guaranteed Game Used cards in it.

Yea. It would've been alot more painful if the cards weren't going towards a set. It really surprised me that I didn't pull a card over two dollars.
