In the near future im giving myself a 1500 allowance for some nice boxes... question is how to distribute it. Give me some ideas... lets go with just the year 2010 Football. Help! Think AUTO happy
To be honest I dont think 2010 is a great year. And now that 2011 is coming out it seems to be dropping the attention it should deserve. I am not in agreeance with this since I definatly think last year was better than this year. But people like whats new I guess. I would invest into buying large lots and/or collections. and maybe just get a few boxes. I really couldnt even reccomend a product to you since I dont think there is great value in any one product! Id search around for places that have deals going to get rid of some stuff first! Just my 2 cents anyway!
I'd go with some 2008 and 2009 if you change your mind on the years...08 LCM is usually pretty good as well as premier from what I've seen....2009 Exquisite is one of the best products of the decade IMO
Yeah, the year really isnt that important to me honestly, just looking to get some big auto hits. I like the 2008 year, alot of solid players out of that year. Do you think investing in an Exquisite or national treasures box would be worth it? I know I want to throw at least one box of playoff contenders in there , but I wnt to mix it around with different brands. I just dont have much experience in the boxes, I usually just buy the single cards
'09 Exquisite if you're gonna get at least 1 high-end. This year's contenders is pretty solid and it's value is still holding pretty strong. Certified is also very nice. In the end it's all up to you. Do the research and pick what YOU are gonna like. I'd also buy a few sick singles for my PC. Big Grin
I would strongly recommend getting a 12 box case of 2010 Certified. You will get two case hiots, including a master case hit, which will be an auto prime patch numbered to 10 or less. I pulled Tom Brady and Jurgensen /3 amongst the 15 individual boxes I purchased. You will also get to platinum boxes, where a lot of the low numbered (emerald and black) parallel reside. You get 4-5 hits per box, including two autos, I received two Bradfords and a Tebow in those aforementioned boxes. There are also the highly collectible NFL Die Cut prime Patches, I really like that product.
A close second would be a box of 2010 Exquisite ($550), and Absolute football, which is really hit or miss, but has by far the most amazing patches youll ever see.
I agree with ejnfl24....this is what I would do

1x 2009 Exquisite
2x 2010 Contenders
1x 2008 Certified
1x 2008 Premier
2x 2010 Certified
1x 2010 Classics

something like that maybe...

2010 asolute itsnt bad either, but I'd reccomend staying away from 2010 Exquisite....too much 1-clr stuff in there for me!

But its all up to you man
I liked the Limited this year.

1 box of National Treasures
2 boxes Limited if not more
2 boxes Certified.
2 boxes Contenders
I kinda like those breakdowns magnum and dabears, I was thinking along the same lines, one big possible hit box and the rest nice and reliable hit boxes!!! Thanks for the info guys I will probably do a mixture of the two suggestions you guys posted.!
I personaly think you should get nba panini gold standard case. You get two logomen per case and a piece of gold.
