I remember that there use to be an option that you could mark if a card graded less than a certain number, BGS would keep your # and just send it back. Do they still do that? I want to send in my Harper auto, but don't want it to come back less than a 9... would be willing to risk the $ at this point.

You can put a minimum grade on the order form and if it meets it then they will slab it with its grade. If it doesn't meet it then they will not slab it, unless you've detailed to slab it as authentic if it doesn't meet your minimum.

You'll be charged even if the card doesn't meet the minimum, so you might as well get it slabbed as authentic.

Hope this helps.
Like nolan said, if you just add a note on the submission form asking that anything below X grade just be slabbed authentic, they'll add a grade to everything your threshold grade and higher, and just authenticate anything they deem to be below that.
Pics speak a thousand words,,,,,

Mark on the plastic holder using a sticky what the minimum grade you want,,,,, and write on the order sheet beside the line the Harper is on,,,,,,

Here is where to mark on the sheet what to do if it does not reach your minimum and you want it in a Blue Authentic holder,,,,,
