Hey guys,
If you haven't received your stuff from fistcityCAPS and feel you've been ripped off, please fill out a complaint with the United States Postal Inspection Service. Here's a link:
https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/investigations/MailFraud/MailFraud.aspx
If enough of us that feel they have been cheated fill this out, we have a better chance at getting our stuff back or at least marking the guy so no one else suffers our fate.
It's also good to note that his Facebook says his last name is Mackey. He gave me the last name of Makay when I sent. Not sure if this has happened to anyone else. Also he has used two addresses. The one he gave to me said he lived in Chesterfield, VA. I don't have the other.
I will also be consulting my sister, who is an attorney, to see if there is anything else that can be done.
Thanks,
Nick
Nick,
I do feel your pain in regards to this, and it has been made aware to the moderators.
Here's the issue though:
This site, and trading in it's entirety, is based off of an honor and trust system. Therefore, there is really no action that you can take, other than action here in the community.
If it were a purchase (that has been registered with a receipt), there may be SOME kind of action you could take. However, this is a trust based issue, and nothing would hold up outside of this community.
Tim
I'm not so sure about that. I saved the messages we sent and I believe that they are legally binding. I agreed to send my items and he agreed to send his. This is essentially a contract that he breeched and I should be able to take legal action as a result.
I understand that Beckett can't do much but I know I have a legitimate case on my hands.
Hey nick,
I went thru some oldered threads and found his last one that said he was going on vacation and wouldn't beable to trade for awhile. I dont know if its A permanent vacation or what but just thought i'd share that with you

It said he last visit the site on May 5th. Also, he was banned from blowoutcards.com for trying to sell a Gretzky RC PSA 10 for $1500 trade even though there is only 1 in the world currently and it sold for nearly $100,000. Guy's a scammer.
Nick,
I spoke to some very high up people in the legal world.
The absolute best you could do would be to open a claim through smalls claim court (-$5,000), and prove that he received the items, that there was an agreement, and that he refused to refund/return any said "trade".
Hope that helps.
Tim
Ahh ok I didn't know that. Thank you for letting me know man and yeah it sure does sound like he is...
Im glad I didn't trade him my Stamkos & Seguin YG's... whew!

For the record (your sig)
2/46 is 4.3%, not 0.04

Look, you're 100x closer now! lol
this is probably why it said "must send first" right below his member name on all of his posts. hope anyone who ended up trading with him gets their end. good luck with everything.
I got my end. But that was before he ran away
