Will everything be the same when I return if I buy the OPG again at that point or are they going to try and charge me $20 anyways?

From what I gather it is like this.
$20 for the organize for a full year, unless you buy an OPG, then you will have use of the organize.
But if you let the OPG expire you won't be able to add cards to organize, trade or sell unless you do 1 of 2 things. Buy another OPG or pay the $20 for organize.
The only thing i am wondering is this.
If you order the organize in June (pay $20). Then in like August you decide you want like total access or a year of just 1 sport. At that point you'd be getting organize included with that purchase. So would some kind of retroactive credit or discount apply?
This is the sort of thing that Beckett really needs to explain to the users.
Charging for organize when you don't have OPG. So did anyone not see this coming? Another reason Beckett won't be around long anymore. If they had any kind of customer service they would have a much better business, but it is so sad to see the total demise of a once well run company. Charging for something which is less that what was given away before is a sure sign of money troubles. It won't be long now. They alienated a bunch of long time subscribers with the withdrawal of the Beckett Preferred program, then raised the prices on a product that doesn't work and didn't give any credits for outages, (They lost $300 + worth of my annual business becasue of that), created a new webiste with more problems and less features than before, and now charge for something that was free before, will eliminate my use of organize as well, and along with it any reason for going to the Beckett website. Way to make your company irrelavant in a very short period of time.

Just an FYI so i don't get the "You just want something for nothing" reponse. I would be happy to pay a fair price for something that works. In fact i did for the last 15 years. My last beckett preferred subscription which gave me all-access pricing ended late in April. But what they are trying to charge now is more than double what i was paying before and when it doesn't even work most of the time, I can't see paying that for it.

Totally agree...I wish I had known about Beckett's plan back in early Feb when they switched to the new site and I spent countless hours using the new folder system to create over 1,300 individual folders representing over 400,000 plus cards. I know that someday this site will be the cat's meow..but at what cost..both financially and otherwise. We have been promised lots of things.......given little in terms of a functioning web site..and at a greater cost. For me, I am going to have to weigh if the time I have already invested in entering my cards is worth the continued aggravation....perhaps it is not worth it anymore.

Back in the old days, I used to wait with anticipation when the new Beckett magazine baseball price guide would come out each month and I would run down to the LCS to grab the new magazine...scan the up the down arrows and read all of the articles from cover to cover....Sad to say, the entire Beckett experience does not provide that level of excitement and interest anymore. Good luck everyone.
Soooooo, how many $20's will it take to get sorting working? I mean come on, how long has this site been live and they STILL don't have sorting working? But yeah, we should all toss them another $20.
Unbelievable.
I don't think it's been emphasized enough, but Beckett personnel have said that May 11 is the EARLIEST they will charge for the org. They won't start charging until the major issues (sort, etc) have been fixed.

I know that Beckett's word doesn't hold a lot of weight with some of you right now, but I have no reason not to believe them when they say this.
So I was just reviewing the email I received from Beckett on 5/4/11 titled "Beckett.com Update: News You Can Use for May 4, 2011". So announcing a $20 fee for something that was previously free is news we can use? Anyone else find that a little ironic? Is beckett run by the government by any chance?

Is there a subject or topic that you don't have an opinion on?
