I love looking at all those Marino's! Back awhile ago, he was the one guy I collected, and I tried to get everything I could get my hands on. One card caught my eye because I used to love the cards so much. It's those Pinnacle Trophy cards. It it was a subset and they were metalic looking and swirly. Does anyone remember them and am I the only one who loved them. I actually tried to do the entire set one year but I ran out of steam along the way.

I little something called D-I-V-O-R-C-E and she sold everything I had in the basement one day when I wasn't there. I'd been out of the house for awhile and when I found out, Angels must have been on both shoulders holding me back from beating her to death (I'm not a violent person, I'm just making a point here about my anger level, please don't get all excited, like I'd really even raise a hand to her), I was seriously pissed. To boot, she sold everything for $5,000, took the money and in the process, got screwed by the LCS she sold the stuff to. There is no way in the world she shouldn't have gotten at least $15-20k. She knows nothing about cards and they knew that, hence - bend over and take it!
I had to start over post 2000 and it's been a little slow since but I'm making serious progress over time. BTW, I did manage to keep a few things from her because she forgot I had stuff stored in my closet, YEAH! But I certainly lost the bulk of my stuff. Thank goodness I held on to my two autographed Cal Ripken 2131 baseballs. Those are special to me!
Divorces always seem to hit a collector's collection...Just sad really. Glad you have your Cal Ripkens at least.
I have hundreds of Dan Marino - I am just trying to get rid of the collection so if you take them all I will make you a great deal! Like $20 for 200+ cards - BV on them is like $300
