headed out to the LCS today to try to break up pbeanjrs week off of school, and we bust a box of 2005 Bowman Chrome and 2006 Finest (see end for Grande Finale ) and well our hits weren't "great" but they could have been worse


so as we were leaving I bought a few packs of 2010 Magic and pulled this

not too bad of a day after all

as a few of you know both myself and jr have been busting "sale" boxes, you know old sctuff shops are trying to get rid of, and since they're 1/2 the price of 2010 boxes we can double our busting time and have some fun without hurting the back-end too much

well around Christmas our LCS found a 4 box case of 2006 Finest ..... outta the first box we pulled this

now in 2006 that would have been one saweeet hit
next box, we pulled this

#50/50 ..... not too bad of a hit
next box, we pulled this

too bad he retired ..... may have had a good career if he stuck around a little longer
and today from the last box of the case .....

WOW!!! Talk about a loaded case! Holy cow back in 2006 that would have been an INSANE case break!!!

That Mario #/10 should still serve you well as trade bait :-) Glad to see you and Junior had a nice time...nice hit with the James Starks, btw. Overall I completely agree with you regarding busting older "sale" boxes...just wish I had that discipline :-P

it still shocks us that we can get two boxes of 2009 Contenders for the price of one today
but then we are definately going to take advantage of whatever deals we can get
