Just wanted to share a few selected scans from my Jordan personal collection.

Not that I have anything against them, but it just goes to show you that most of the best Jordan cards aren't listed in Beckett.

My Jordan trade list and the rest of my Jordan personal collection are in my signature.

He's the first person on this forum that i seen will Jordan's Star RC as far as i'm concerned his collection is better. LOL

I must admit he does have better stuff!
Old school collections are far better than modern ones...
Although, I have mixed emotions about the two.
As long as the old school items are not mass produced and are not in horrible condition, yes, they are better.

Thanks. Yeah, I'll eventually get them graded/authenticated. I'm not too big on grading because I know they're real and I don't plan on ever selling them. I bought the two Jordan autographs from another very high-end Jordan collector whom I completely trust, so I know they are real. They're also his full, vintage signature, which is very rare. I actually trust SCD's grading on the Star rookie more than BGS. They were the first to grade Star Company cards and were the foremost experts on Star cards before they went out of business. If you remember, BGS refrained from grading Star cards for many years because they felt that they could not tell the difference between authentic and "reprinted"/counterfeit copies, then suddenly reversed their position on that, so I don't trust them as much on grading Star cards.

filamuraireborn: Thanks. Remember that those were only a few selected scans of about 90 cards from my collection of over 4,200 different Jordan cards. The scans didn't even take us out of the 80's or show any of my inserts or game-used cards. If you want to see the rest, go to http://www.thejordancollector.com/jordanihave.html I have about $40,000 in book value in mainstream Jordans, and another $30,000 in SALE value of Jordans that aren't listed in Beckett. All-in-all I have about $50,000 in SALE value (not book value) in Jordans. I know a few Jordan collectors who have more than that, but none of them are on this forum. If there are some out there, I would like very much to meet them.

filamuraireborn: I agree that vintage/unique collections are way better than mainstream ones. The rest are shown on my web site at http://www.thejordancollector.com/jordanihave.html In addition to what I showed in this post, I have about $40,000 in book value in mainstream Jordans, and lots more foreign and oddball Jordans that aren't listed in Beckett that I didn't show here. It's a pretty well-rounded collection.

nismo68: They both sell so infrequently that it's hard to put an accurate value on them. BGS has only graded 7 of the Barons #633A, and mine is the second highest grade. In a 2005 Sport Illustrated article, Oscar Gracia, the world's foremost Jordan collector, said that it is one the the three most difficult Jordan cards to acquire. I paid $2100 for it about 3 years ago. I only know 6 other collectors who have the Ceasar's Tahoe Jordan, and it is believed that less than 10 exist. I paid $1800 for that one about 4 years ago

Thanks! Yeah, I love to share my collection and show people what else is out there Jordan-wise, and even answer questions for collectors and help them build their own Jordan collections. I eventually want to have front and back scans of every card I own on my web site, which I'm slowly doing over time.

As to your question, not yet. We're in the process of buying a house, which we'll probably do in the next couple of months, and looking at ones large enough to accommodate future children, though that is probably another couple of years down the road. I really hope they turn out to be Jordan fans, otherwise I don't know who I will leave the collection to! :0)

That's good! I hope you will have the house sooner not later. I wish you and your wife to have beautiful children(yes, children). Oh man, I can just imagine what will your children's faces will be when they find out that their Daddy is a Michael Jordan Super or Mega Collector!

I also plan on passing my collection to my future children. I want two or more(hahaha)! One is no fun but two or more is definitely more fun!
