Official trades only.

Who do you think will make all the moves?
I think LA will be a big buyer, while Fla will be a big seller.

senators well be big sellers & LA big buyers ( Richards is going no were for Stars )
No matter who are sellers or buyers today..I have no clue what the St Louis Blues are doing...Honestly thought they had a decent young crop of players and they've managed to leave me with more ?'s than answers!
Not a Blues fan, but in my opinion, they have some of the best hockey fans in the league and think they might be getting railed with the short curved end of the stick. I guess Blues management likes watching Cardinals baseball..
You should see alot of deals like this one...
Dvorak to Atl and Bergfors to Fla... yawn!
I expect to see ONE big name trade today that no one saw coming!
trades as of 2:30 EST

Fla acquires Bergfors and Rissmiller from Atl for Dvorak and a 5th
Was acquires Wideman from Fla for Hauswirth and a 3rd
Phx acquire Klesla and Byers from Cbj for Upshall and Lepisto
Edm get Montgomery from Col for Belle
Chi gets Campoli and 7th from Potulny and a 2nd from Ott
Car gets Bryan Allen for Samsonov from Fla
Ana gets Winchester from Stl for a 3rd
Lak get Penner from Edm for Teubert, 1st, and a 2012 pick
very boring this year
time for me to dust off my Colten Teubert heroes and prospects!! the Penner trade for me was #1 and the late night Brad Boyes was #2 imo.

the most mind-blowing trade during these past weeks has been ottawa getting craig anderson for brian elliot - whowuddathunk?

D Dennis Wideman - good pick up caps but a push a little too late dont u think? DC needs some shakeups in the summer

Vancouver Acquires
F Maxim Lapierre
F MacGregor Sharp

i know lappy has some haters but this is a good playoff pick up by van. a lot of sandpaper, grit now
caps did the best on trade day
I think Vancouver did very well, getting Higgins and Lapierre for Oberg, Perreault and a couple of picks. Oberg could be a good defenseman one day, but Vancouver has proven their AHL defense isn't lacking at all (Tanev, Sauve, Sweatt) and Perreault is no big loss.
Will they prove to be the final pieces of the puzzle for a good cup run? Time will tell, but right now I'm actually pretty happy.
oh I had a thread in the hockey section down by the help boards

glad there was some talking about the deadline deals here

to next year happy trading deadline
