It's been a LONG TIME, and I cannot remember how it's done, or, if it can be done on here. Where I have a pic in my sig, and you can click on the pic, and it takes you to my Photobucket.
Anyone?
I would like to just know how to edit my signature under this new site.
Go to the forums, go to the "User Control Panel" on the left side of the bar that has "Welcome back, XXXXXXXXX". When you get in there, on the left side of the screen you'll see menu items going down. You'll see some that say 'Change Signature', 'Change Avatar', etc. Some people are having issues changing their signature, others are not. Please let me know if you have issues, and if you do, what browser are you using and on what system? Thanks.
I have had just one issue, my avatar. I cannot change it. I tried to upload an image from my PC, and it was able to pop up once for me to resize it, but would not take.
Blah, now it worked flawlessly LOL!!!
Yeah, other's are having that issue as well. I tried mine last night and it didn't work. They are working on it though. Please watch this
thread as they will be announcing updates and fixes as they go along. It won't be extremely up to date as they are busy progamming, but IT Guy will be updating it as often as he can. Thanks.
So far, that was the ONLY issue I had. I can't believe all the whining and complaining, and really, borderline attacks about the site update. I love the boards section again, and will come here more often now. Everything will get worked out, people just need to relax and go with the flow

Thank you for being optimistic about it. Believe me, the devs are doing all they physically can to get the site in tip top shape. I think yesterday they were in from 7 in the morning until 11 at night. I think, or maybe they overlapped shifts, I don't know. I do know that I was getting emails that late at night though. Some people are experiencing issues others aren't. For instance, some can't set their country, I can. Some can view and update trades, I can't. We don't know if it's the browser, browser settings, etc. The devs tested multiple browsers before they put the site out (I prefer Chrome) and it all seemed fine with the settings they have. However, I don't think they can export their browser settings and let people download them.

Now that I think of it, it might also have something to do with services on the local computers. I know I've had no problems on any of the computers I've used....well for some things.
Things work a lot faster, which is good. I don't know how I got my image avatar to come up, just kept trying. Only problems I have had are not being able to access the organize/trade page.

I remember at work here, it was right after I started here 10 years ago. All our concrete plants worked off dummy terminals. We switched to as Windows based system, and the plants came in to the servers across Citrix. I swear, it was about 5 weeks STRAIGHT, 15-18 hour days, working out bugs, traveling to plants to fix printer issues, etc. But after that was all done and worked out, it's been a pretty smooth ride for everyone, and it has gotten better with time.
Once everything is worked out here, people will love it again. I know I do. I have been "gone" from here since the last major change.
Yeah, well hopefully others will see that and enjoy the site. I understand some of people's major issues are customer service and how they feel about Beckett as a company, but there's really nothing much I can do about that. Even trying to get some people to understand goes unnoticed or they just don't care to hear it.
