The 1999 Finest set was released in mid September 1999 as a 175-card single series set consisting of 124 veterans and 51 bonus base cards, divided into three subsets, Rookies, Gems, and Sensations. The short printed Rookies subset contains the games best young players such as Edgerrin James and Ricky Williams each being designated with the Finest Rookie Card logo stamp. Gems showcases 11 of todays biggest stars with each cards background featuring an etched "gem" pattern. Sensations features 11 emerging talents such as Peyton Manning and Randy Moss. Each cards background is highlighted with a multi-etched design. Each base card is printed on a 27 pt. thickness stock. The S.R.P. is $5.00 per pack with five cards in a pack. Thirteen card collector packs, available exclusively through Home Team Advantage stores, contain eleven base cards plus two bonus cards with an S.R.P. of $10.00 per pack. [Collapse]
