This set of 56 standard-size cards features members of the all-time Super Bowl team and members of the teams which competed in the 25th Super Bowl: the New York Giants and Buffalo Bills. This set also included card number 799 from the 1990 Pro Set Football set: the Ronnie Lott Stay in School Card. Published reports indicated that Pro Set made 125,000 of these sets, 90,000 for distribution at the Super Bowl and 35,000 for a special mail-away offer at $30.00 per set. The set is housed in an attractive binder with special plastic pages holding four cards per. The cards of the players playing in the Super Bowl have the same number on the back as their regular issue set but the fronts acknowledge their teams as champions of their conferences. Cards for players from the two losing teams in the Conference Championship games (49ers and Raiders) were also printed, but apparently where not destroyed as commonly thought since many of them surfaced some twenty years later.
