The AAFC was comprised of eight teams representing the cities of: Cleveland (Browns), San Francisco (49ers), Los Angeles (Dons), Chicago (Rockets, Hornets), New York (Yankees), Brooklyn (Dodgers), Buffalo (Bills) and Miami. The Miami Seahawks folded after the 1946 season and were replaced by the Baltimore Colts. The Cleveland Browns, with a combined record of 47-4-3, won the AAFC title game in each of the league's four seasons. Three AAFC franchises, the San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Colts and Cleveland Browns merged with the NFL for the 1950 season. [Collapse]
