Ashley Force Turns Pink

Jul 8 2008 1:51PM

In celebration of her 2007 Rookie of the Year campaign, Ashley Force will be running a special paint scheme at the U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis. This will be her first special paint scheme and it is sure to be a favorite.

Motorsports Authentics will be right there to commemorate this car and produce a die-cast replica. These will be available at John Force Race Station or you can contact them at 714-921-1651. But they won't be taking orders until Wednesday July 9 beginning at 3 PM EDT.

The SRP should be about $75, and these should be limited to about 2,500. The actual numbers have yet to be released, but they typically do about 1,000-1,500 ROY pieces, and I'm sure the demand for Ashley Force will bump these to about 2,000-2,500 pieces.

"I love that the Motorsports Authentics die-casts are real cars that really race. I think it is great that fans can get the die-casts and then see my Castrol GTX Ford Mustang at the track. That makes it a special memento. I know all my favorite die-casts are of my dad's cars that were specialty cars like the Grinch. I have great memories of seeing that car. There will never be another Rookie of the Year car for me and I'll only race it at Indianapolis so that will be doubly special," said Ashley Force.

Ashley's cars have been very popular on the secondary market. A key reason for that is their scarcity. She is very popular and there have only been a few die-casts produced and the production numbers for those select few have been very low. These will definitely be cars to pick up and hold onto, because they will appreciate in value.
