Girls Gone Wild
May 1 2008 10:04AM
Danica Patrick picked up her first career victory last weekend during the Firestone IndyCar 300 at Japan. She has been grabbing collecors' attention since her first Indy 500 race in May of 2005. She only has a few cards and die-casts, but she does have some other collectibles. She has been featured on magazine covers and hero cards which are both very collectible. One of her most collected magazine features, doesn't even have her on the cover.

Danica has two notable die-casts, both from the 2005 GreenLight IRL 1:18 set. They were released with different color numbers on them white and yellow. The white No. 16 Argent car had 1,500 pieces produced and its listed at $200 and the yellow No. 16 Argent die-cast was limited to 10,000 pieces and it's listed at $100. She was featured in Topps' 2006 release of Allen & Ginter where here certified autograph was limited to just 100 copies and its listed at $600. Her only other certified autograph came in 2007 Rittenhouse IRL, and it's listed at $400.

Ashley Force followed up Patrick's first win with one of her own. This past weekend Ashley beat her father, John Force, in the final round to claim her first victory. John was trying to claim his 1,000th career round win. He'll be attempting that this weekend in St. Louis, on his 59th birthday.
After the race Ashley signed her Old Spice Victory Towel, and it's being auctioned off on eBay with all proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald House charity. You can check out the auction by clicking here.
Ashley isn't the only driver that has teamed up with Old Spice to auction off race-used items. Tony Stewart's towel from his win in the Aaron's 312 at Talladega is also up for bid.
