Beckett Massive Online Gamer announces the winners of the 3rd Annual MOG Reader's Choice Awards

DALLAS, TX (March 6, 2009) --- The readers of Beckett Massive Online Gamer recently voted for their favorite games of 2008. There were seven MMO categories in which gamers got the chance to vote. They included: Best New MMO Release, Best MMO, Best Fantasy MMO, Best Sci-Fi/Historical MMO, Best Expansion/Addition, Best MMO Trailer and Most Anticipated MMO.

With over 25,000 votes cast, there were several close races, while a few games just dominated their categories.

And the winners are…

• Best New MMO Release of 2008 - Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning
• Best MMO of 2008 - EVE Online
• Best Fantasy MMO of 2008 - World of Warcraft
• Best Sci-Fi/Historical MMO of 2008 - EVE Online
• Best Expansion/Addition of 2008 - World of Warcraft
• Best MMO Trailer of 2008 - World of Warcraft
• Most Anticipated MMO - Star Wars: The Old Republic
