Collectors will find something a little bit different this year when busting 2007 Sweet Spot Classic Baseball… historical Letterman patches and Celebrity Signatures.
The product will feature Lettermen patches of some of the greatest players in baseball history like Ty Cobb, Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth.
In addition to Lettermen patches, hundreds of celebrity autograph cut cards have been added to the checklist. Over 150 different celebrities, many who have never had autograph cards of any type like Orson Wells, John Lennon, Rosa Parks, Norman Rockwell, Bob Hope and Johnny Cash will be included in the Sweet Spot Classic release.
"The addition of these celebrity cuts will insure collectors are receiving substantial value from case purchases," said Chris Kollmeyer, Upper Deck Associate Brand Manager for Baseball. "Now each twenty tin case will yield a Sweet Spot autograph of a deceased baseball legend or one of these special celebrity cut autographs."
Sweet Spot Classic's new pack configuration guarantees collectors one autograph and two memorabilia cards in each five-card tin. The product is scheduled to hit hobby store shelves the week of August 15.
