Product Preview: Epic Baseball is limited and loaded with redemption free memorabilia!

2006 Epic Baseball, $50 per pack SRP, is a new addition to the UD library. ‘06 Epic will bring a fresh look and feel to the industry. All cards will be printed on a vibrant rainbow board, similar to high-end UD products Ultimate Collection and Exquisite. All base cards in 2006 Epic will be numbered #'d to 450.
"Epic Baseball boasts the strongest memorabilia checklist we've ever done," said Gregg Kohn, UD Product Manager. "One of the highlights from the list is that we are introducing the first ever four-bat barrel card. It will have pieces of game used bat barrels from four of baseballs legends, Jimmie Foxx, Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb and Lou Gehrig."
Upper Deck is challenging collectors to take the Epic Quest. Rarely are true set builders rewarded for their hard work and dedication to the hobby. Upper Deck will reward the first four collectors who complete and send in the entire 300 card regular set of 2006 Epic Baseball. These first four successful set builders will be rewarded with an entire collection of all 300 original printing plates used for 2006 Epic Baseball. There will also be special rewards for those who finish a close second.
Epic Baseball features many prominent inserts. Epic Awesome Eight Materials will showcase four individual jersey swatches per side. Historic names like Ruth, Roger Maris, Thurman Munson, Yogi Berra, Jimmie Foxx, Duke Snider, Johnny Mize and Eddie Matthews highlight the Epic Awesome Eight Materials.
2006 UD Epic Baseball hits hobby stores shelves this July 16, 2006.
