Press Pass Announces Promotions for The National

Press Pass announced that they are producing exclusive 2008 Press Pass Legends Football cards for a wrapper redemption promotion that will be going on at Sports Collectors Convention.

Each collector who opens a mini-box (6 packs inside) of 2008 Legends Football at the Press Pass booth will receive a special National-exclusive base card parallel featuring red foil stamping and numbered to five.

Each player in the set will be available, including legends featured in their collegiate uniforms such as Troy Aikman, Marcus Allen, George Blanda, John Brodie, Earl Campbell, Eric Dickerson, Dan Dierdorf, Brett Favre, Paul Hornung, Jim Kelly, Jack Lambert, Ollie Matson, Don Maynard, Tommy McDonald, Hugh McElhenny, Joe Montana, Warren Moon, Gale Sayers, Mike Singletary, Steve Spurrier, Ken Stabler, Barry Switzer, and Steve Young.

2008 NFL rookies like Darren McFadden, Matt Ryan, and Chris Long will also be included in the promotion.

New for 2008, collectors will also find Legends Football "Saturday Signatures" randomly inserted in place of the red foil parallels.

Press Pass also announced they are bringing their box redemption program back to The National.

Collectors who purchase a hobby box of 2008 Press Pass Eclipse, Premium, Stealth, or Speedway NASCAR trading cards from a dealer at the show are asked to bring the box to the Press Pass booth (#629), and open the box with a Press Pass representative, while sharing their opinions.

After they do that, collectors can choose one autograph or dual memorabilia card from a variety of cards.

The NASCAR lineup consists of many popular drivers such as Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kasey Kahne, Tony Stewart, Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Dale Jarrett, Greg Biffle and Mark Martin.

Each driver will be available while supplies last, with a limit of 10 redemptions per collector.
