Beckett Hockey has learned that Upper Deck plans to begin shipping BAP Draft Redemption cards by the end of March...but they'll be doing so without the participation of In The Game.
In a letter signed by both Joe Fallon of Upper Deck and Ken Kim of the NHLPA, it was revealed that the cards will not carry ITG marks or a design similar to the Draft Redemption cards previously issued by In The Game. However, they will still be limited to 100, or the number of cards actually turned in during the valid redemption period, whichever is lower.
Along with the redemption cards, Upper Deck will include a special card printed exclusively for this program and not available through any other channel. The company and the NHLPA also will refund all shipping and handling monies paid by collectors.
