What We Like:The overall simplicity of the product is a huge plus. Forty autographed Rookie Cards is also nice to see.

What We Don't Like:The Sweet Leather Signatures are very tough to pull with only 20 of each. A lot of trees had to be sacrificed to make the super thick auto helmet cards, which are tough to store.

Final Analysis: Sweet Spot may be a little gimmicky, but at least it's unique. The signed helmet-shaped pieces of plastic are back. There are more than 40 this year, with the best ones limited to 299 or 199. Some of the signatures are hard to see on top of the team logos. The designs are nice, but the super thick card stock makes then very difficult to store. They are also more prone to chipping and corner dings.

Sweet Spot is good product for collectors looking for something a little different. If you're after just a few specific cards, buy the singles off the secondary market. Packs seem bit steep at $10 per. However, there are only 12 packs per box-about half the number of a normal box-so the odds even out pretty well.
