1. Go to the Beckett Media home page by going to www.beckett.com.
2. In the upper right-hand corner, click on the link, Not a Member? Join Here.
3. Enter your desired User ID, Birth Date (to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), Email Address, Password, First Name, Last Name, and Zip Code in the entry boxes provided. Be sure to make a note of your User ID and Password.
Please note that a valid email address is required to register and validate your Beckett account.
4. Select any Beckett Newsletters you would like to receive at your email address. Once registered, you can manage your email newsletter subscriptions here.
5. Complete the questions (these questions are optional).
6. Read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Check the box to certify you have read and agree to these documents.
7. Click Create My Account.
8. If the User ID you chose is already in use by another member, you will be asked to enter another one. If any required information is missing, you will be asked to enter it.
9. When your User ID is accepted, an email will be sent to your email address with instructions on how to validate your account. Your account must be validated before you will be able to login to the Beckett website.
NOTE: Some people have trouble receiving our emails because automated messages often end up in spam folders or blocked by Internet Service Providers (ISPs) such as AOL, Comcast or Verizon. We recommend adding webmaster@beckett.com to your email address book to help you receive the email.
If you did not receive the email, try logging into www.beckett.com. You will receive a message that the account still needs to be validated and will see a link to Resend the email. Click Resend to have it sent again.
10. Your browser must support forms. We suggest the use of Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or better.
11. When you receive your email, a URL address will be provided. Click on the URL address to validate your account. If the URL address link does not work, highlight the URL address, then copy and paste it into your Internet Browser URL address field. Click Go. This will also validate your account.
12. If the first URL address does not work to validate your account, there is a second URL address you can go to. You will find it toward the end of the email. You will then need to enter your User ID, Password, and the Validation Code found at the bottom of the email. Enter this information and click Go to validate your account.
