Racing Champions issued one car for each of 50-years of Petty Racing in 1999. Each car was packaged in a commemorative blister with the year that car represents noted on the base of each car along with a stated production run of 19,043. This series remains one of the most collected of all 1:64 scale Racing Champions releases. Note that we've cataloged the cars by year of issue and that the first 3-year's of Lee Petty car models do not match the exact year in which that car was raced. There was also a 50-car factory complete set issued by Racing Champions. Each card in the factory set was inserted into a plastic bag and placed into one of two 25-car trays inside a larger box.
