Packing Cards

(1) Place each card in a "penny sleeve"

(2) Slip the sleeved card into an "oversized semi-rigid" card holder (such as Card Saver I or "Ultimate").

(3) The card holder(s) should then sandwich between two pieces of cardboard

(4-5) Tape the cardboard securely (you can tape up to 25 cards together this way).

(4-5) Tape the cardboard securely (you can tape up to 25 cards together this way).

(6) These packages should then be placed into a box with sufficient packing material to keep them stationary.

  • Top loaders - These allow internal movement during shipping. Even "penny sleeves" do not completely prohibit this movement. Whenever the card is capable of movement, damage is a possibility.
  • Padded shipping envelopes - These do not sufficiently prevent bending in transit.
  • Screw-down or snap holders - We would prefer the customer remove the cards from these types of holders.

Although following these recommendations will not guarantee that transit damage will not occur, we have found this to provide the best protection for your cards.

Thanks so much.
