2003 Fleer Box Score

This 245 card set was released in July, 2003. The first 100 cards feature veteran players. Cards numbered 101 through 110 feature players who made their major league debut in 2003 and the USA Today Box Score of their debut game is embedded into the card. Cards numbered 101 through 110 feature players who made their major league debut in 2003 and the USA Today Box Score of their debut game is embedded into the card. Those cards were issued to a stated print run of 599 serial numbered sets. Cards numbered 111 through 125 feature 2003 rookies and those cards were issued at a stated rate of one in six. Cards numbered 126 through 155 comprise a rising star subset which were issued one per rising star box. Cards numbered 156 through 185 feature All-Stars and those cards were all issued as a complete run in the All-Star box. Cards numbered 186-215 feature leading players born overseas and those cards were issued as a complete run in International boxes. And then cards numbered 216 through 245 feature a mix of current and retired New York Yankees and those cards were issued in a special Bronx Bomber box. All cards numbered between 126 and 245 were issued to a stated print run of 2400 sets. Card number 224 was not issued in this set. [Collapse]
