This 24-card standard-size set honors some of the more influential writers in baseball history, i.e., "major league writers." The cards have yellow and green borders surrounding black and white photos of the writers pictured. The writer's name is given in black lettering below the picture. The backs have brief biographies of the writers along with "Did you know" features usually about writers not in the set.
